As per the New York Times website at 8:20 p.m. Obama wins Vermont, and is projected to take Texas and Clinton projected to win Ohio. Polls close in Rhode Island at 9 p.m.

Harlem4Obama, a grassroots organization dedicated to delivering New York’s 15th Congressional District to Senator Barack Obama, waits in front of MSNBC’s television newscast for the results returning from Vermont, where polls closed at 7 p.m. Though MSNBC just called the state for Obama and McCain, most other major news networks, including nytimes.com awaits more results. The watch party began at 6:30 p.m. at the Tribal Spears Gallery on Frederick Douglass Boulevard between 116th and 117th streets in Harlem. As of 7 p.m. the party lacked a main ingredient for success – attendees.
Tuesday proves the ugly step-child to the rest of the days of the week. It certainly doesn’t have the allure of Friday, nor the appeal of Wednesday – which marks a half way point in the work week – and let’s not even begin to compare it to Saturday. Tuesday’s arrival normally stuns the American population, but since the presidential candidates broke through the starting gate on Jan. 8, in New Hampshire, Tuesday has developed a whole new sex appeal.
